Qualifying Projects

What the program helps with

Assistance may be available for qualifying energy-related home improvement projects. Participating contractors can confirm whether your specific project qualifies.

Replacement Windows

Energy-efficient window replacement for qualifying homes. Old, drafty, or single-pane windows are among the most common sources of home energy loss — replacement can improve comfort, reduce drafts and condensation, and update the look of your home.

  • Full-frame and insert replacement windows
  • Common signs your windows may qualify: drafts, condensation between panes, rot or soft spots on frames, difficulty opening or locking
  • Projects of all sizes may be considered, from a single problem window to a whole home

Entry Doors

Insulated entry door upgrades that improve efficiency and security. An aging or poorly sealed entry door lets conditioned air out and outside air in, and can be a weak point in your home's envelope.

  • Insulated front and side entry doors
  • Common signs: visible daylight around the frame, drafts, sticking or warping, worn weatherstripping

Patio Doors

Sliding and hinged patio door replacement options. Patio doors are large openings in your home's envelope — an efficient, well-sealed patio door can make a noticeable difference in comfort in the rooms you use most.

  • Sliding and French/hinged styles
  • Common signs: hard to slide or latch, fogging between panes, drafts near the door

Additional home improvement categories may be added in the future. Eligibility for any project is confirmed during the application process.
